Liposuction of the Thighs
Liposuction of the thighs is a procedure destined to remove localized fat from the thighs through Liposuction. Liposuction of the thighs is simple, done under general anesthesia or eperidural anesthesia with sedation. The patient can already walk around the following day. The bruising tends to disappear 2 weeks after the liposuction of the thighs.

Thigh Lift
The thigh lift is recommended for the cases of skin laxity. Skin laxity might appear due to a significant weight loss, hormonal changes, lack of exercise or heredity.
Before the thigh lift surgery, the surgeon will mark the precise areas of the body where the fat is to be removed. An intravenous (IV) line will be inserted in a vein in your arm to make sure the fluid level in your body remains in balance. If you are not undergoing general anesthesia, you may be given a sedative for relaxation.
During the thigh lift procedure, the surgeon makes a tiny incision in the skin, typically in or near the buttock crease or at the site of a previous scar, and inserts a thin tube called a cannula into the fatty area. The cannula is used to break up the fat deposits and sculpt the area to the desired proportions. The unwanted fat is removed with a high pressure vacuum, leaving the skin, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels intact.
The thigh lift procedure takes from 3 to 6 hours and is done under general anesthesia or eperidural anesthesia with sedation. Incisions will be made at the bikini line, starting at the groin, going through the buttock crease and upper through the waist. In case of Circumferential Body Lift, abdomen and flanks will also be treated, and the frontal scar will be united with Abdominoplasty scar.
After the thigh lift procedure, the patient should wear a compression garment in order to reduce swelling and to support the new contours. In about a month, the patient can already resume their normal routine. The patient can resume physical exercises 3 months after the thigh lift procedure.
The thigh lift procedure might also be performed together with other procedures such as Liposuction, Liposculpture, Breast Implants or Abdominoplasty.
